You might be surprised to know that there is no case of Covid-19 in New-Zealand. New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern says that there are after several weeks of struggle New- Zealand is quite free. Though everyone is curious to know was it just luck of New- Zealand or good leadership of Prime Minister that now New-Zealand is free from Covid-19.
Actually, the country lockdown quite early and follow very strict rules. And after following these strict and laws and keeping too much positivity in mind. The land is free from Covid-19 and everything like the economy, business becomes quite active there. And everything I sin recovery mode.
Youngest ever female Prime Minister is a symbol of good leadership. And when she was asked how happy she is after the news. She laughed and said, “I did a little Dance”.

Least Lady also added,” While we’re in a safer, stronger position, there’s still no easy path back to pre-Covid life, but the determination and focus we have had on our health response will now be vested in our economic rebuild,”.
How the country make it Possible?
Like many countries New Zealand first went into lockdown on 25 March, setting up a new four-stage alert system and going in at level four, where most businesses were shut, schools closed and people told to stay at home. Though the country takes a step by step process to reach the level one it becomes a successful process.
Like after some five weeks, it moved to level three in April, allowing takeaway food shops and some non-essential businesses to re-open.
As the number of community cases continued to decline day by day, the country moved into level two in mid-May.
The move to level one comes ahead of time – the government had originally planned to make the move on 22 June, but it was brought forward after no new cases were reported for 17 days.
New Changes in the Country
After the good news people got a sigh of relief and. And according to the new rules, there is no social distancing, no limits on public gathering just some borders will remain closed.
Now fresh rules will be applied, all schools and workplaces can open. Many social activities like weddings, funerals, and public transport can resume without any restrictions. Social distancing is no longer required but will be encouraged on a personal level. Though people from another country sare strictly prohibited and borders will be sealed.
The economy is a matter of little worry!
New Zealand has recorded 1,154 confirmed cases and 22 deaths from Covid-19 since the virus arrived in late February. Which is comparatively less from many countries. But has been widely praised for its handling of the crisis with smart way and unity.
Although the citizens of NZ are worried about is the economy. So many people are out of work, so many people looking for work at the same time. But these things will be resolved with time.
Sporting events, music events can all take place with no restriction of numbers. We’re still being encouraged to the social distance, of course, so we hope people will be sensible.
Though New Zealand is free from Covid-19 for now, one doesn’t know about the future anything can happen. But lady prime minister has set a very good example of leadership.
