Years back I remember some conversation with my mom where we generally conversate about health care, body care. And she often gives me tips to make the skin glow. But over the years our topic has changed a bit after my mother was diagnosed with some serious mental health issues.

 Yes, you read right, this topic – Mental health, depression, anxiety- emotional disorder us quite close to my heart. I certainly have seen it, in my family, seen my people suffer because of emotional disorder.

Though by God’s grace everything is fine now. But I have noticed at many places, Mind Health is still a taboo.

Generally, many people misunderstood this issue with some kind of disorder. Mental health includes emotional, psychological, and social well-being.

The effects are on our overall personality as we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. 

Different from your Physical one, Mental health is more important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood and years beyond.

Whether you say it’s a biased choice or some well-researched exercise. But yes being a music fan, it is the first thing I do whenever I feel depressed. 

But don’t switch some sad, hard live lyrics. Instead groovy and happy music will help you much.

You know what, I love to talk go myself like 100 times a day. Not because I don’t have someone to talk to. It’s just I spend so much time with me, more than anyone else. So, if I won’t spend a good time with myself. Things will not work for me.

Pamper yourself, talk to yourself like someone you love. 


I remember last time how jumping jags and some squats save my life.

Xd… It sounds funny! But yes, whenever you feel like the world is not a good place, or things are not working for you. Take a long breath and just go into the gym. Actually, when we do exercise, Dopamine is released. 

Your body releases stress-relieving and mood-boosting endorphins before and after you work out, which is why exercise is a powerful antidote to stress, anxiety, and depression.

Grab some Dark Chocolate. 

I know you’re health-conscious and avoid calories. But sometimes you have to have fun in life. 

Believe me, having some pieces of chocolate or even a good meal helps you to achieve better goals for mental health. 

Though your diet contributes a lot to your mental health, eat fresh, eat raw, and EAT. 

Good food and nutrients are important for your cognitive function. 

This will nourish your whole body, including your brain. Carbohydrates (in little amount ) increase serotonin, a chemical that has a calming effect on your mood.

 Protein-rich foods increase norepinephrine, dopamine, and tyrosine, which help keep you alert. And vegetables and fruits do the magic for your body and mind. Also, Include foods with Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids. 

Open your Heart to your loved ones.

We all need validations, an empathic ear that hears us, understand us without any judgment.

Go to a true friend, your loved one, or a family member. Who genuinely cares for you.

I am blessed to be a good friend and also find some good friends in my circle. So yeah, this technique literally works. 

Remember you are valued among your peers, and being a trusting person improves your emotional well being too much.

The things we gave discussed above definitely going to work out for you.

There is no biggest power, truest belief in this whole universe rather than GOD.

You might be a religious person and go to the temple every now and then. But tell me the last time you set still for 20 minutes, down meditation, or simply experience the spiritual being that is you. 

May be your past experience was bad, awful. But this ill, not deciduous future. 

If you don’t know who you are, just focus on who

I often say to me, and I am blessed to be GOD’s child. Nothing is as powerful as surrendering yourself to GOD.
